To apply for a job, click on the Apply online button. You will need first to register as a user of the Guildford College Group jobs site, or log in if you have registered before.
You must apply by completing all sections of the online application form. Applications in other formats (including CVs) will not be accepted. Make a note of the closing date and make sure your application is submitted in good time, as late applications will not be considered.
All of the information supplied on your application must be full and accurate. You will be asked on the application form to sign a declaration to this effect.
Please note that we do receive a high number of applications so we are unable to respond to every applicant. If you haven’t heard from us four weeks after the closing date for applications, you can assume we will not be taking your application any further. ||Please provide full details of your current employment. If you are currently in full time education, please enter your place of study instead of employer. If you are not currently employed or in full time education, please enter your most recent job details.
|In entering your qualifications tell us about your highest level of qualification and most relevant qualification (e.g. your teaching qualification). You do not need to give us a full list of qualifications. You will also need to tell us about your levels of essential skills – in English, Maths and ICT (Computing). Please note that any qualifications will be checked upon appointment.
||Please use your Supporting Information statement to tell us about how and why you are likely to be the most suitable candidate for the job. We recommend you refer closely to the job description and person specification, although you should avoid simply quoting this. Use evidence to show us how you meet or exceed these requirements, such as examples from your employment history, voluntary work, in your education or in other activities. You must account for any gaps in your employment history in this section.
Applications will not be accepted without 2 referees. One must be your current employer and the other a previous employer.
If you are not currently in work, you must give your most recent employer. If you have not had 2 jobs, you may give as a second reference an educational referee (e.g. a head teacher from your school). If you are leaving education and do not have an employment history, please give us an educational reference and a personal reference.
This section of the application form requires you to provide information on; the source of application, relationship with the Guildford College Group, Right to Work in the UK, Driving Licence details, Data Protection and a declaration to state that the information you have provided is to the best of your knowledge true and complete.
||Please complete the equality and diversity monitoring section, this is really important to us in our aims to remain an equal opportunities employer and monitoring the effectiveness of our recruitment processes. The selection panel will not see this information.

Unfortunately, due to high number of applications, we are unable to provide feedback at the shortlisting stage. However, if you have been invited for interview we will aim to provide full feedback within a week of the interview date.
