Application Process

Applications are welcome from any individual meeting the criteria outlined in the job description and person specification. Selection will be made based on suitability to carry out the duties of the job. We are looking for applicants who share our commitment to learning throughout a diverse community and to safeguarding our students.

Please note, application forms including personal information provided will be retained for a period of 12 months at which point it will be destroyed in line with the College’s HR Privacy policy.

Pre-employment checks

All employment offers are subject to:

  1. Two satisfactory work related references (employment cannot commence until these are received)
  2. Eligibility to work in the work in the UK
  3. An Enhanced DBS check including a check of the Vetting and Barring Scheme
  4. Satisfactory medical clearance
  5. Proof of relevant qualifications including Maths and English for all staff
  6. Satisfactory check of the Prohibited from Teaching List (for teaching posts only)
  7. Completion of probation (including mandatory training)
